Meetings

In-person public attendance and in-person public comment has resumed for all public meetings, including Commission, Advisory Boards, Code Enforcement, Procurement, and Union negotiations.

Quasi-judicial items – Quasi-judicial items are governed by Chapter 2, Article III of the Code of the City of North Port, Florida. Matters considered to be quasi-judicial in nature are described in Section 2-82 of the Code of the City of North Port, Florida. Meeting agendas are posted on our Meeting Calendar, and identify quasi-judicial items by noting “QUASI-JUDICIAL” at the end of the item title. Quasi-Judicial items are conducted by the Commission, Planning and Zoning Advisory Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, and the Code Enforcement Hearing Officer. The code includes procedures for a quasi-judicial proceeding and for aggrieved or adversely affected persons.
