Adult Basketball League
We're excited to announce that the Adult Basketball League is back and set to run from Aug. 18 through Oct. 21, 2026
The Adult Basketball League offers both a 16+ Division and a 40+ Division. To be eligible for the 40+ Division championship, all players on a team's roster must be 40 years of age or older. Games will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Morgan Family Community Center, located at 6207 W. Price Blvd. The team registration fee is $400.
How to Register:
Team registration is accepted in person on a first-come, first-served basis and will remain open until all spots are filled or the league begins. Visit either of the following locations to register:

Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your team’s spot.

Each player must read, acknowledge and sign the league rules(PDF, 3MB).

At the first game of the season, all players must sign the official team roster.

Players under the age of 18 must have a parent present at the first game to sign a waiver. Participation is not allowed until this waiver is completed.

Teams may have up to 11 players, with no more than 14 teams.

Beginner Archery
Join us as we explore the world of archery! Learn in a supportive and safety conscious environment designed for beginners. You will sharpen your focus and technique with our USA Archery certified instructors. Experience the thrill of hitting the target with precision as you grow as a beginner archer during each session. All equipment is provided.
Designed for ages 10-17, pre-registration is required.

Adult Archery
Have you ever wanted to try your hand at archery? Join us in a supportive and safety-conscious environment designed for adult beginners. You will hone your focus and technique with our USA Archery certified instructors. All equipment will be provided.

Archery Group Lessons
This class will focus on archery safety, skills and drills. Participants will learn archery form, range rules, shooting techniques, etiquette, scoring and competition. Minimum of eight participants. All equipment is provided.

Intro to Sports: Basketball
Build confidence on the court with this beginner-friendly basketball program. Participants will learn foundational skills such as dribbling, passing, shooting, footwork and basic game rules through drills and small-sided games. The program emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork and player development in a positive, supportive environment.
Pre-registration is required.
Clinics will take place at the Morgan Family Community Center, 6207 W. Price Blvd.

Table Tennis
Table tennis players of all skill levels are invited to this competitive setting to enhance their abilities. Beginners are encouraged and welcome to participate. Just drop in, borrow paddles and balls, or bring your own. Join the fun!

Pickleball
A cross between badminton, tennis and ping pong; pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. Availability may change due to programs or events.
Designed for ages 16+, offered on a drop-in basis.

Fee: $4/resident, $5/non-resident, or free for members.

There are several different youth sport organizations within the City of North Port.
