Health & Fitness Through the George Mullen Activity Center and the Morgan Family Community Center, North Port Parks & Recreation offers a variety of fitness programs and activities to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Swimming Lessons Swim lessons save lives. We offer a variety of class levels certified by the American Red Cross Learn to Swim Program.
Therapeutic Recreation The North Port Parks & Recreation Department works with numerous local organizations forming the T-REC of Sarasota County.
Youth Scholarships The City of North Port's Parks & Recreation Department and the Social Services Division has established a recreation scholarship fund to help North Port youth who do not have the financial means to participate in recreation programs.
