A burn ban is currently in effect for the City of North Port. There is also a lawn watering restriction set by the Southwest Florida Water Management District (SWFWMD).
Home to more than 94,600 residents, North Port is the largest municipality in Sarasota County and one of the fastest-growing cities in the country.
