Sponsorship Opportunities

The City of North Port’s Parks & Recreation Department offers a tiered sponsorship program to allow local nonprofits, businesses, and individuals to become involved in the City’s events, activities, and programs. Additional sponsorship opportunities can be customized, to meet the goals and budget of your business or organization.

In addition to event sponsorships, the North Port Aquatic Center offers opportunities for your organization to garner attention and exposure as an upstanding member of the North Port community. For more information, visit the Aquatic Center Sponsorship page.

Presenting Sponsor ($2,000)

Presenting sponsorship's are offered on a first-come, first-serve basis and the City will accept only one (1) Presenting Sponsor per event. Businesses or organizations may only be a presenting sponsor for one event per fiscal year. When the City holds an event annually, the event’s Presenting Sponsor may renew its pledge to be the Presenting Sponsor for the same event the following year. A Presenting Sponsor must submit its presenting sponsorship application(PDF, 336KB) for the following year’s event at least nine (9) months before the following year’s event. Payment must be made within 30 days. The Presenting Sponsor’s failure to timely pay its pledged amount permits the City to accept a different Presenting Sponsor for the following year’s event.
