Here are answers to frequently asked questions about the North Port Aquatic Center (NPAC):
Can we bring food in?
- Outside food and drink are not allowed at NPAC. However, you can bring cake, cupcakes and water during a pavilion rental. NPAC does not provide storage.
Do we need to pay to get in if we are not swimming?
- Yes, admission is charged for anyone entering the facility, regardless of whether they swim.
Can we bring in drinks?
- No outside food and drinks are permitted. Water bottles are allowed.
Can we bring decorations?
- Decorations are allowed during pavilion rentals, but no confetti should be used.
What if it starts to rain?
- Inclement weather is monitored by staff. If rain makes the bottom of the pools not visible, temporary closures may occur.
How tall must you be to enjoy the whole park?
- Slides have a minimum height requirement of 48” and a maximum weight limit of 300 lbs.
Once we pay, can we leave and come back?
- Yes, admission is valid for the entire day. Keep your receipt for re-entry.
Are water toys allowed?
- No, water toys are not allowed.
Are flotation/water wings/tubes allowed?
- Only Coast Guard approved flotation devices are permitted. NPAC has a limited number of complimentary lifejackets.
Are towels provided?
- No, towels are not provided.
Can you eat and drink inside the pool area?
- Food must be kept 4 feet from the wet deck, per Department of Health regulations.
Are coolers allowed?
- No, coolers are not allowed.
Are strollers allowed?
- Yes, strollers are allowed.
Is a microwave available for heating baby bottles?
- No, there is no microwave available for this purpose.
Are water shoes permitted?
- Water shoes can be worn everywhere except on the slides.
Are there lockers?
- Yes, lockers are available. Bring your lock or purchase one from concessions.
Can food be pre-ordered?
- No, food cannot be pre-ordered.
Can I pre-purchase tickets?
- Tickets must be purchased at the admission window. No pre-sale of tickets.
Do groups get a discount?
- The City does have reduced rates for parties of 15 or more. 72-hrs advance notice is required to reserve a group.
