Awaken Food Pantry Thanksgiving Outreach Event

On Nov. 20, Awaken Outreach Center will host its annual Thanksgiving Community Outreach Event at 4940 Pan American Blvd, from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. and again from 4:30-7:30 p.m. This year, they anticipate serving over 1,400 families, each receiving our full pantry selection of meat, groceries, fresh produce and essential household goods - plus a Thanksgiving turkey and all the traditional side items needed to prepare a complete holiday meal. The goal is to ensure that no family in our community goes without a warm, abundant meal this Thanksgiving.
