The Coastal & Heartland National Estuary Partnership is hosting a public event to share knowledge, showcase resiliency action, engage leadership across sectors and mobilize collaboration throughout the Central & Southwest Florida region. It will feature innovative thinkers to exchange dialogue and ideas on expanding the region’s capacity to respond to environmental challenges and towards building increased climate resiliency.

The Coastal & Heartland National Estuary Partnership is hosting a public event on Tuesday, Sept. 22, where the public, local scientists, land managers, policymakers and resource users will come together to share the latest regional science and projects being undertaken to further address challenges impacting Central and Southwest Florida.
This in-person event will have numerous networking opportunities to allow participants to build new connections and collaborations. Topics will include Assessing and Addressing Vulnerabilities and Risks, Local Water Management District Updates for the Region, Adaptation Planning for More Resilient Communities and Implementing Adaptation Using Innovative Approaches. Experts from a variety of organizations will be presenting, including City of Venice, Conservancy of Southwest Florida, Ecosphere Restoration Institute, University of Florida, Dewberry, Central Florida Regional Planning Council, South and Southwest Florida Water Management Districts, WSP, HighTide AI and more!
