Bald Eagle

The Bald Eagle has been the national emblem of the United States since 1782. The Bald Eagle resides in Florida year round where they hunt for a variety of prey and nest from October - May. The Bald eagle is protected by the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service under the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act. This once endangered bird from hunting and pesticides are now flourishing under these protections.
