Invasive and Exotic Species

An invasive species is defined as a species that is non-native to the ecosystem and whose introduction causes harm to humans or the environment. Report sightings of invasive iguanas, monitor lizards, pythons, or exotic/invasive plants.

Some common invasive plant species in the region include the Brazilian Pepper Tree, Melaleuca Tree, Australian Pine Tree, Cogon Grass and Caesar's Weed, among others.
