Household Hazardous Waste Collection

The City is set to host a Household Hazardous Waste event on Saturday, March 28, from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at our Public Works facility, 1850 W Price Blvd. Residents can drop off any of the included hazardous waste items, free of charge.

Items eligible for drop off:
  • Pool chemicals
  • Automotive products
  • Pesticides
  • Fluorescent bulbs
  • Paint and paint solvents
  • Chemical cleaning products
  • Sharps (place in rigid, puncture resistant, leak proof container)
  • Unwanted medications 
  • Adhesives & glues
  • Fertilizers
  • Household fire extinguishers and smoke alarms
  • Propane cylinders (BBQ size)
  • Tires

 

Items not allowed:
  • Bulk items
  • Televisions
  • Appliances
  • Ammunition
  • Fireworks or flares
  • Recyclables 
  • Garbage
