Adult Basketball League returns to the Morgan Family Community Center

Get ready to hit the hardwood—North Port Parks & Recreation is excited to announce the long-awaited return of the Adult Basketball League! The popular program is making a comeback and will run from Aug. 12 through Oct. 29, 2025, with games held on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at the Morgan Family Community Center, 6207 W. Price Blvd.

Open to participants 16 years of age and older, this competitive yet community-driven league offers athletes a chance to relive their glory days or simply enjoy some fast-paced fun. Whether you're assembling your championship crew or just shooting for a great time, the Adult Basketball League is the perfect way to stay active and connect with fellow players.

“We’re excited to bring back one of our most popular programs,” said Recreation Manager Shelby Mendelson. “The Adult Basketball League has always had strong community support, and we’re looking forward to seeing the gym buzzing with energy once again.”

Team registration is $350, and space is limited, so early registration is encouraged. Register in person at the Morgan Family Community Center, 6207 W. Price Blvd., or George Mullen Activity Center, 1602 Kramer Way. Bring a completed league rules form and payment to finalize your registration.
