Career Connect event links job-seekers with local employers

Join the City of North Port's Economic Development Division for its Career Connect Job Fair on May 21. This exciting free event will take place at the George Mullen Activity Center, 1602 Kramer Way, from 3-7 p.m.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet with numerous local employers, including State College of Florida, King Plastic, North Port Behavioral Health, Adams Group and numerous City of North Port departments.

“North Port’s growth brings fresh opportunities—and a greater need for a strong workforce,” Business Retention and Expansion Coordinator Mike McLellan said. “I look forward to seeing businesses collaborate, recruit quality employees, and expand their professional connections.”

Attendees are encouraged to bring their resumes and take advantage of the chance to build connections and network with other professionals.

If a business or organization would like to have a table for their business or organization, they can fill out the signup form.
