New to North Port or looking to learn more about your community? Don’t miss Newcomer Day, presented by North Port Parks & Recreation and the North Port Area Chamber of Commerce. This free, expo-style event connects residents with local resources, programs, and services. Held on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 10 a.m. to noon at the George Mullen Activity Center (1602 Kramer Way), Newcomer Day is the perfect opportunity for both newcomers and longtime residents to explore everything North Port has to offer. With more than 60 information tables hosted by community organizations, local nonprofits, government agencies, and businesses, this event provides an excellent chance to discover new resources, learn about local services, and connect with others in the area.

Entertainment: Enjoy live entertainment provided by The Kumpfenbergs, adding to the lively and welcoming atmosphere of the event.

How to Register:

Non-Profit Organizations: Complete the online vendor application to participate in the event. Vendor applications are reviewed on a first-come, first-served basis, depending on event needs. Please note that completion of the application does not guarantee acceptance into the event. After submitting the form, a North Port Parks & Recreation staff member will contact you within 72 business hours to discuss your application.

Local Business Registration: The North Port Area Chamber of Commerce accepts local business registration for this event. At this time, business registration is at capacity. We appreciate your interest in this event.
