Get active this Fall with the North Port Aquatic Center

The North Port Aquatic Center (NPAC, 6205 W. Price Blvd.) will return to its Fall operating hours on Monday, Aug. 12, 2024. The geo-thermally heated competition pool will be open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The full facility, including the pool and water park amenities, will be open on Saturdays and Sundays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. through October 27, 2024. The Aquatic Center will be closed on Mondays.

Although NPAC moves into Fall operating hours, we pack the schedule with plenty to do! We look forward to seeing you at these splash-tastic programs and events:

• For our younger friends, the Aquatic Center will be offering a time to come together and enjoy the Pelican Playground without the hustle and bustle of the full water park. August 14 through Sept. 27, Sunflower Hour will be available on Wednesdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to noon at the Pelican Splashground. Open to ages 4 and under, this program is only $8 per class or $40 for an 8-class punch pass.
• Are you an adult looking for some “me time?” Come enjoy the lazy river during our Relax-A-Float program! August 13 through Sept. 26, the lazy river will be open to those 18 years or older on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 1 p.m. This program is free to Aquatic Center pass holders. Not a member? You can still find your inner tube by paying the daily admission fee.
• As the temperatures become milder and the air begins to cool, there’s no better way to celebrate the onset of autumn than with a thrilling night at the water park! Our “Dive into Fall” event promises an evening packed with excitement, laughter and plenty of fun for everyone. Join us 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 15 for Lip Sync and Sept. 19 for Splash Dance! Daily admission fee or free to annual passholders.
• Looking to start a workout, but want to try something different? Get active and fit without stress on your joints! Hydro-Fitness utilizes a timed-interval format along with resistance-based exercise to target every major muscle group. Available on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Friday from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. in our geothermally heated competition pool. This class is perfect for ages 11 and older, and the fee is only $8 per class or $40 for an 8-class punch pass.
• Come make waves in our Waves Bootcamp—a high-intensity year-round fitness class that will burn calories, tone muscles, and build core strength. Class is offered on Saturdays from 8:30-9:30 a.m. in the dive well of the geothermally heated competition pool. This class is appropriate for people 11 years of age and older. The fee is only $8 per class or $40 for an 8-class punch pass.
