Local Weather Stations

Fire Rescue has installed a Davis Vantage Pro weather station at each of the five fire stations in the City. The weather stations transmit data via wireless to a control unit inside the fire station. That control unit then re-transmits the data to Davis Weather via the internet. The data is then formatted and displayed below.

The information provided by the weather stations gives our emergency managers and the public a Citywide view to monitor changing weather conditions, make informed decisions, communicate with those involved, and take appropriate precautionary measures.
