2025 Southwest Florida Resiliency Summit

The Coastal & Heartland National Estuary Partnership is hosting a public event to share knowledge, showcase resiliency action, engage leadership across sectors and mobilize collaboration throughout the Central & Southwest Florida region. It will feature innovative thinkers to exchange dialogue and ideas on expanding the region’s capacity to respond to environmental challenges and towards building increased climate resiliency.

This public event will be held on Sept. 16-17 at the Sunseeker Resort (5500 Sunseeker Way, Charlotte Harbor, FL 33980) and will coincide with this year’s Florida Resilience Conference. The Summit will focus on responding to environmental challenges and building resiliency in our communities through presentations, discussions, question and answer sessions and networking opportunities. Advanced registration is required to attend. 

This Summit brings together the public, scientists, land managers, policymakers and resource users to discuss the latest regional resiliency science and how to further address challenges impacting Central and Southwest Florida. Experts from a variety of organizations will be presenting, including Dr. Carolina Maran (South Florida Water Management District), Dr. Peter Sheng (University of Florida), and Dr. Charles Jacoby (University of South Florida). This in-person event will have numerous networking opportunities to allow participants to build new connections and collaborations.
