City offices to close Jan. 1 for New Year's Day

Please note City Hall and other City offices will be closed on Thursday, Jan. 1, for New Year's Day. The Sarasota County Tax Collector office in North Port City Hall will be closed on Thursday and Friday, Jan. 1-2.

There will be no solid waste collection on Thursday, Jan. 1. Thursday collection will be on Friday, Jan. 2, and Friday collection will be on Saturday, Jan. 3.

Parks & Recreation closures: The Morgan Family Community Center, George Mullen Activity Center and North Port Aquatic Center will be closed Thursday, Jan. 1. Warm Mineral Springs Park will be open.
