With Spring Break around the corner, North Port Parks & Recreation invites residents and visitors to take advantage of a wide range of activities, programs and places to explore while school is out.

The week kicks off with BINGLO, a family game night happening Friday, March 13, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at the George Mullen Activity Center, 1602 Kramer Way. This glow-themed bingo event blends classic gameplay with interactive challenges and prizes. Families are encouraged to wear neon and join the fun. The cost is $15 for a 10-card pack, with additional packs available for $10. Registration details are available at NorthPortFL.gov/BINGLO.

Spring hours begin March 14 at the North Port Aquatic Center. From March 14 through March 23, the full facility will be open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. for Spring Break, giving guests plenty of time to relax #PoolSideAtNPAC, enjoy the water park, float the lazy river and take part in open swim. Beginning March 24, the Aquatic Center will continue operating from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the Competition Pool open Tuesday through Sunday and the Water Park open Saturdays and Sundays only. Admission and passholder information can be found at NorthPortFL.gov/Pool.

March is also a great time to get outdoors and connect with nature through the City’s self-guided BioBlitz program. Taking place throughout the month at the Myakkahatchee Creek Greenway Trail and other locations across North Port, this initiative encourages participants to explore local habitats, identify wildlife and contribute to conservation efforts at their own pace. For a more relaxing experience, Warm Mineral Springs Park offers visitors a chance to unwind at Florida’s only natural warm spring. With an average water temperature of 85 degrees year-round, the park provides a unique setting for therapeutic and passive recreation. Daily pricing details are available at NorthPortFL.gov/WarmMineralSpringsPark.

Visitors can also spend time exploring North Port’s local parks, which offer opportunities for play, picnics and hiking throughout the city. A complete list of park locations and amenities is available at NorthPortFL.gov/MyLocalParks.

Those looking to stay active during Spring Break can explore a variety of fitness classes offered by North Port Parks & Recreation. Options include the new Hatha Yoga class designed for both adults and youth, along with Hydro Fitness and other instructor-led programs for all experience levels. A full list of fitness classes is available at NorthPortFL.gov/Fitness.
