The City of North Port is a young, emerging city whose image and personality have been defined as a community full of potential and vitality where anything is possible. Centrally located between Tampa and Fort Myers, the city is located in Sarasota County Florida, and has a population of more than 77,000 residents, and a land area of 104.1 square miles making it one of the largest cities in Florida. The city is growing and is now the lead city in the North Port-Bradenton-Sarasota Metropolitan Statistical Area (MSA).
