Parks & Recreation Month
July is Park & Recreation Month, and this year, we’re celebrating how communities grow stronger when we “Build Together, Play Together.” We are inviting kids, ages 2-12, to dream big and draw your dream park! What would your park look like if you could design it from the ground up? What spaces would bring people together? What kind of fun would you build? Whether it a splash-tastic splashpad, a peaceful nature trail or a magical playground, we want to see your vision!
How to enter:
- Download our template(PDF, 3MB) and draw your dream park. Drawings must no exceed 8.5" x 11"
- Be sure to include your name, age, phone number, and email address
- Submit your entry by July 31.
- Drop off your drawing to the George Mullen Activity Center (1602 Kramer Way), Morgan Family Community Center (6207 W. Price Blvd.) or email it to Parks@NorthPortFL.gov
- A winner will be chosen on Aug. 12 in two categories: ages 2-5 and ages 6-12
- Winners will be showcased in the Jan.-Dec. Playbook.
