Adult Basketball League

Adult Basketball League Returns This Fall!

We're excited to announce that the Adult Basketball League is back and set to run from Aug. 12 through Oct 29!

Open to players ages 16 and older, games will take place on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Morgan Family Community Center, located at 6207 W. Price Blvd. The team registration fee is $350.

How to Register:
Team registration is accepted in person on a first-come, first-served basis and will remain open until all spots are filled or the league begins.  Visit either of the following locations to register:

  • Morgan Family Community Center – 6207 W. Price Blvd.

  • George Mullen Activity Center – 1602 Kramer Way

Important Notes:

  • Full payment is required at the time of registration to secure your team’s spot.

  • Each player must read, acknowledge and sign the league rules(PDF, 3MB).

  • At the first game of the season, all players must sign the official team roster.

  • Players under the age of 18 must have a parent present at the first game to sign a waiver. Participation is not allowed until this waiver is completed.

  • Teams may have up to 12 players, with no more than 12 teams.

Intro to Sports

Is your child interested in sports but doesn't know which one they will enjoy? If so, this program is for you! One class per session will be dedicated to the basics of popular youth sports. Pre-registration is required.

Pickleball

A cross between badminton, tennis and ping pong; pickleball is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. Offered on a drop-in basis. Availability may change due to programs or events.

Table Tennis

Table tennis players of all skill levels are invited to this competitive setting to enhance their abilities. Beginners are encouraged and welcome to participate. Just drop in, borrow paddles and balls, or bring your own. Join the fun!

There are several different youth sport organizations within the City of North Port.
