Our recent City Commission budget workshop on March 13 centered on fiscal year 2026-2027 assumptions, financial projections and strategic priorities, and it came at a time when costs continue to rise faster than revenues. The challenge before us is not whether we plan carefully, but how we do it in a way that keeps North Port strong, affordable and prepared for the future.
