Assistance

The Social Services Division is a tax-exempt governmental entity funded by the City of North Port. Additional funding sources are received through grants, generous individuals, churches, civic groups, schools and collaborative partners. These charitable funding sources, collaborative partners, and other outreach programs enable us to provide assistance to families and individuals that are experiencing a short term unavoidable financial crisis.

The Social Services Division assists in connecting residents who are experiencing a financial hardship with the assistance they need. The Division's office is located in the Family Service Center, which is also home to several community agencies that assist residents.

The City of North Port's Family Service Center is located at 6919 Outreach Way, Suite 3, North Port, FL 34287. Contact the Social Services Division at (941) 429-3700.
