Pumpkin patches to spooky splashes: Fall festivities take over NPAC

Get ready for a double dose of fall fun at the North Port Aquatic Center as North Port Parks & Recreation presents its annual Pumpkin Plunge followed by the brand-new Monster Mash & Splash!

The seasonal celebration kicks off on Saturday, Oct. 18, from 9 to 11 a.m. with the beloved Pumpkin Plunge, where families can dive into autumn with a unique aquatic twist. Pick your perfect pumpkin from a floating pumpkin patch, then head over to one of the craft stations to decorate your festive find. Plus, enjoy seasonal games, activities, and plenty of opportunities to make lasting memories together.

“The Pumpkin Plunge is a fantastic way to celebrate fall in a safe, playful and creative environment,” said Aquatic Manager Devón Poulos. “It’s the perfect way for families to have fun and soak up the autumn spirit, while staying cool!”

Pre-registration is required for Pumpkin Plunge as space is limited. Cost is $15 per child, with a supervising adult admitted free. Register now at NorthPortFL.gov/PumpkinPlunge.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! Stay for the Monster Mash & Splash from noon to 5 p.m. on the same day, where the North Port Aquatic Center will be transformed into a Halloween space filled with spooky characters and festive fun. Enjoy all your hauntingly favorite water attractions, including the thrilling water slides, the Relaxahatchee Lazy River, and the playful Pelican Playground.
