Neighbors by Ring

The City of North Port has joined Neighbors Public Safety Service by Ring. The Neighbors App connects residents with public safety agencies through the Neighbors App to create safer, more informed communities. You can receive information and alerts from the City and our Fire Rescue and Police departments right on your phone - and you don't have to have a Ring device to use it!

Recycle Coach

Whether it’s remembering to take out the trash or wondering which recycling tote to set out, we've got you covered. Recycle Coach gives you the ability to:

  • View your collection schedule for the entire year
  • Stay updated on upcoming recycling events and special collections in your community
  • Get customized collection and event reminders by push notification or email

Habitat Sightings

Habitat Sightings web application

Our Habitat Sightings web application is a great way to help protect our North Port wildlife. See a unique species? Feel free to report the sighting and attach a photo so it can be verified. Many of our residents use this application to submit the location of gopher tortoise burrows (threatened species) in the City.
